My role as your celebrant is to bring warmth , professionalism and respect, to help ease your planning of the funeral, memorial or celebration of life. Living Funerals
Some people know that they are going to live a shorter life than they expected. Living funerals are when the person themselves is present at the event before they die, including them and the plans they have to celebrate their life, is a growing concept. What I can do
Lead a ceremony that befits the occasion, at an emotional time and in circumstances that are unfamiliar
Be sensitive and flexible about the form a funeral can take, many things are possible these days and I can help you understand what you can do
Use my experience to create the most suitable dignified and respectful send off
Spend time to listen and be with you with kindness
Create a suitable atmosphere at this formal occasion to celebrate your person’s life
What you can expect
A one to one consultation, usually face to face and can be virtual as well.
I will lead the ceremony on the day, supporting you as needed in that moment
A written summary of the things we have agreed
A copy of the order of service for you to keep
The sharing of the script in advance, so you can check and discuss any changes with me
I will collaborate with the funeral directors of your choice if your using one
Depending on the location of ceremony, I may discuss with you the need for me to travel the day before in order to avoid any hold ups. The cost of nearby accommodation would be covered by you, unless I can stay with a friend or family near to the venue (I’ll do my best to keep the costs down for you)
